Congratulations to all who took part and our best wishes to Sabine and James in representing Division S at the UK event in Sheffield.

Well done to all the competitors who took part in our Club Contest - an evening of excellent speeches and high entertainment!

Congratulations to Sabine Munro for winning the Table Topics Contest and to Alex Lewis for winning the Humorous Speech Contest. Sabine and Alex will now represent Glasgow Toastmasters at the Area Contest on 30th September 2017.

Congratulations to all the participants who competed in the Division Contest at the Scottish Parliament. A memorable day and a very high standard of speeches.

A big well done to the winner of both the speech and evaluation contest, James McGinty of Southside Speakers and Central Toastmasters and to our own Kieran Aitken who finished second in the speech contest. James goes on to represent Scotland at the District 71 Contest in Manchester on 13-14 May and we wish him all the best.

And congratulations to our own Dee Murray who was voted Scotland's Toastmaster of the Year for her outstanding contribution to Toastmasters over the past year. A richly-deserved award!

Through this mission, each Toastmaster gains a clear understanding of the club's purpose, and the organization as a whole benefits from a shared set of values and goals.
