A Capricious Transformation

The weather lived up to its capricious nature withe the snow gone only to be replaced by gale force winds and lashing rain. It didn't stop several hardy souls making their way to our latest meeting.

Michael John led teh meeting as Toastmaster explaining how Toastmasters transformed lives, before introducing Zoe who controlled the timing lights, and Adrian Reed who was Grammarian. Adrian gave us the word of the evening - "capricious".

Paul Winfield gave us his second speech entitled "Flip flos or snow boots?" and gave an excellently researched piece on the hottest and coldest places on earth.

Keith Oliver followed with an educational talk entitled "Evaluate to Motivate"

After the break Adrain Reed led the table topics with an eclectic mix of subjects of people's experiences. Wendy Benson then evaluated the participants before Robin Chawner evaluated Paul Winfield's speech.

After Michael John evaluated the evening, he gave out the awards and wished everyone a safe journey home, although by now the weather had abated.

Best Table Topics - Josh Wilkie (guest), Best Evaluator - Wendy Benson
