Welcome |
Plain Speakers is Kildare's newest, most innovative and welcoming Toastmasters club. Indeed, we are one of the few in Ireland, that meets throughout the year.
The club is noted for its warm, encouraging and supportive atmosphere. Our founders are keenly aware of the importance of mentoring and encouraging our new members, having benefitted from mentoring and support themselves. Indeed, each new member is immediately assigned an experienced mentor on joining to assist them progress with their communication and leadership skills.
Plain Speakers provides an intimate and supportive space, for men and women over 18 years, who would like to overcome their terror of speaking in public, or want to improve or enhance communication or leadership skills for work, college, social occasions, in community organisations or clubs or who want to boost self confidence or self esteem.
We meet on the second and fourth Monday of each month (excluding bank holidays), in the Town Hall, North Main Street, Naas, convening at 7.45pm for an 8pm sharp start. Visitors are assured of a warm welcome, and will not be asked to speak unless they wish to do so. For further details contact Deirdre (087)662 7395 or follow us on www.facebook.com/plainspeakers.
