1. Application To Organise form.
2. Charter Payments form.
Here is a calculator to to help you fill in this form:
Charter Payments Calculator
Note that in column F you must enter (and thereby pay for) new member kits for all new members, even if they have been received already in the Charter Kit.
3. Charter Membership Application form.
One form needs to be completed for each member. Note that it differs from the Membership Application form for chartered clubs. WHQ staff have to enter manually each name and contact detail into their system, so if you have this information on a Word file (or other electronic format) you can also send that to enable them to copy and paste the information into their system.
4. Charter Club Officer Information form.
Of the 7 officer roles you need to name at least 3: President, a Vice-President and Secretary.
The following Word forms can be used instead enabling the information to be typed.
Club & Officer Information - Ireland - Club and Officer Information for the new club (Ireland version)
Club & Officer Information - UK - Club and Officer Information for the new club (UK version)
5. Club Information form.
6. Club Constitution and Bylaws.
Only the pages to be written on (i.e. 23, 29 and 30) need to be submitted when chartering.
With regard to the Bylaws article VI, if you do not want to use Robert's Rules for conducting Club business meetings there is a suggested alternative Rules of Order here.
Once a Club has chartered it can make changes in its Bylaws at any Business Meeting and register them at Club Central on the TI website.
Bylaws - Example
Here are the Bylaws in Word format. Club specific information is highlighted in yellow, so you can overtype with the details for your Club instead of using the paper or pdf versions.
Further information about the process of chartering a new club is here.
